Bayern Munich continue their active preparations for the new season after winning a convincing win over RB Leipzig in a friendly. The match, held at the Allianz Arena, ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of Vincent Kompany's team. The game started for the hosts with unforeseen difficulties: already at the start of the meeting, Konrad Laimer was injured, due to which the coaching staff had to make a forced substitution and let Sasha Boe onto the field. However, this did not stop the attacking fervor of the champions - soon Luis Diaz opened the scoring in the match with an accurate shot. The second half gave the audience even more sharpness and scored goals: After the break, Brian Gruda managed to restore parity, giving the visitors hope for a positive result. The draw lasted only five minutes — the team's rookie Nathaniel Braun once again put the Munich team in the lead. The main and most frightening event of the evening was the episode with the participation of Jamal Musiala. During the match, the midfielder suddenly fainted and fell on the lawn due to the intense heat. Fortunately, the player regained consciousness very quickly and avoided serious health consequences. Before that, Musiala managed to put the final point in this match, scoring the third goal against the Bulls. We will remind that at the end of the last campaign 2025/26, Bayern became the champion of the Bundesliga with 89 points. RB Leipzig also had a strong season, finishing in a high third place (65 points). The official start of the 2026/27 season is ahead for both teams: Bayern will already compete for the first trophy on August 22, having played a principle match for the German Super Cup against Borussia Dortmund. Leipzig will begin their journey in the new championship on August 29 with a match against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
