Amorim: Leau will have to fight for a place in Milan's starting line-up

Milan head coach Ruben Amorim commented on the situation surrounding Rafael Leau. The coach noted that the Portuguese remains an important part of the team, but will not have a guaranteed place in the starting line-up. According to Amorim, Leau's injury does not look serious, but it is not yet known whether he will have time to recover before the opening round of the championship. "I don't think his injury is serious, but I don't know if he will be ready for the first round of the championship. He is our player, we are happy with him. Regarding the transfer market, let's see, he is an expensive player. He will have to fight for a place in the team: Cisse played well and will make the task difficult. Salemakers has changed position, plus we have Pulisic coming back. Many football players will fight for a place in the team," Amorim said. Earlier it was reported that Amorim offered four Milan players for transfer, including Leau.
