Manchester United have put up a not for sale sign on Bruno Fernandes

0
Manchester United are set to reject any bids for Bruno Fernandes before the current transfer window closes next month. As sources reported last week, Turkish side Galatasaray, as well as Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan, are considering testing the Mancunians' determination to keep their leader. In particular, it was expected that Galatasaray was preparing a deal, the final amount of which, including all payments, would be 50 million euros. However, the message from senior sources at Old Trafford is unequivocal: the Turkish club are simply wasting their time. Last summer the situation was somewhat different. Fernandes was then told it was up to him to decide whether to accept a huge offer from Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal (the Portuguese later admitted he felt insulted by the club's stance). This time, United is acting as clearly as possible. Sources at the club say that while no official inquiries have yet been made for the 31-year-old, he is not for sale at any price. Bruno has one year left on his current contract with an option to extend for another season. It is known that the football player himself would prefer to stay in the team. The fallout clause (clauses) in the amount of 66 million euros has already expired. Currently, no agreement has been reached on signing a new agreement. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of the Portuguese for the team. In the last season of the Premier League, he set an absolute record, giving 21 assists. Thanks to such phenomenal form, Bruno is the main favorite for the title of Footballers' Player of the Year for the 2025/2026 season, which will be awarded in Manchester next week.
