A senior UAF official was involved in a road accident

A serious traffic accident occurred in the center of Kyiv, as a result of which one of the cars rammed the summer playground of a cafe. According to Ukrainian Pravda with reference to its own sources in the law enforcement agencies, the participants in the accident were an official of the Ukrainian Football Association and a person with a criminal record. The incident happened in the morning on Velyka Vasylkivska Street, not far from the Palace of Ukraine. According to preliminary data, the BMW X3 car, driven by the director of the UAF football development department Bohdan Gorodniuk, was leaving the secondary road and did not give way to the BMW X7. The latter was driven by Kyrylo Ostrovbroadcaster, who reportedly sped at breakneck speed in the direction of NSK Olimpiyskiy. As a result of a powerful collision, one of the cars flew into the summer playground of a local restaurant. Fortunately, none of the pedestrians or visitors of the establishment were injured. Bohdan Horodnyuk was injured and was immediately hospitalized. As previously reported with reference to law enforcement sources, Ostrovbroadcaster's on-the-spot drager test showed that he was sober. Currently, the investigation is establishing the exact degree of guilt of each of the drivers. Journalists and investigators, in particular blogger Kostyantyn Andriyuk, emphasize that this is far from the first serious accident in Ostrovbroadcaster's biography. The name of Kyril Ostrovbroadcaster began to appear in criminal chronicles after the tragedy that occurred in 2018 on Lesya Ukrainka Boulevard in Kyiv. Then, driving a Hummer SUV, he ignored a red traffic light and hit a 10-year-old girl in a crosswalk. Dragging the child about 50 meters, the driver tried to escape from the scene of the crime. The girl died from her injuries. In August 2022, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv found Ostrovbroadcaster guilty of this crime and sentenced him to 4 years and 6 months in prison.  Later, another criminal case was opened against him. In 2023, Ostrovbroadcaster managed to get out of the SIZO on bail. According to the publication Detektiv-Info, in March of this year Kirill was again detained by law enforcement officers. This time he was charged with kidnapping and torturing a person. However, within a few weeks, the court released him on bail in the amount of UAH 399.3 thousand. We will remind, earlier it became known that in Slovakia, the ex-official of UAF Andrii Pavelko was detained for embezzlement of 295 million hryvnias.
