Khlan is the hero of Gurnik, Shah made his debut for Lehia: the results of the fourth round of the Ekstraklasa

The fourth round of the Polish championship was also incomplete. Out of nine matches, only 7 were played on time, and the meetings between Wisła Płock - Lech and Jagiellonia - Pogon were postponed due to the participation of Lech and Jagiellonia, which unexpectedly passed Rangers, in the European Cups. As a result, only eight teams out of 18 (that is, less than half) played all four matches at the start of the season. By the way, in the next round, four Polish teams that continue to play in the European Cups were supposed to play each other, but the matches between Lech and Jagiellonia and Rakuw and Gurnik will not take place on time either, but will be held on September 3. The usual calendar mess at the start of the Polish season...
Pay attention to the results of the seven played matches of the reporting tour. Firstly, no draw was recorded, and secondly, six of the seven matches ended with a minimum advantage of one of the teams!
The only exception was the game in the capital of Poland, where the local Legia defeated Radomyak 5:0. In that match, everything became clear by the 17th minute, when the home team scored three goals. In the second half, Sparta Prague forward Jan Kuchta made his debut for Legia, who at 184 cm is the shortest of the team's central forwards! The height of the remaining three is at least 190!
With this victory, Legia - one of eight teams that played all four matches - became the sole leader in points. Marek Papshun's men have had a great start to the season, losing only two points in these matches. However, the potential leader remains Gurnyk from Zabrze, who won all three matches. In this round, he beat a very strong newcomer Wisla Krakow at home. When Maksym Khlan made it 2-0 in the 52nd minute with a superb free-kick into the corner of the net, it seemed that the game was over. But the leader of Vistula's attack, the Spaniard Jordi Sanchez, who scored for the 5th time in four matches of the championship (scored in all of them!) quickly reduced the gap to a minimum and immediately after that, in the 56th minute, the hosts were led by the Norwegian center forward Liset, who was sent off for the second yellow card. Vistula actively attacked all 40 minutes that remained, including the compensated time, but could not save the match.
Gurnik continues to strengthen in terms of personnel, with the team signing Frenchman Antist on loan from Sassuolo last week and in talks with Hungarian champions Gyor's 22-year-old midfielder Raimund Toth, who made his debut for Hungary's first team in June.
If Gurnyk won all three matches at the start, Rakuv, another participant of the European Cups, suddenly lost all three matches. On Sunday, he conceded away to Krakow, although he led after the first half. Another strong-willed victory was won by Zaglembe, although they also lost the first half to Shlionsk.
Also, in the tour, I would like to note the first victory in the championship of Korona and at the same time the first defeat of Vidzev. And this victory was also willful, although in this match all three goals were scored before the break.
And, of course, one cannot pass by the first ever victory in the extra class of Vechista. The victory left a bitter aftertaste, because Vechista almost lost a four-goal lead. She led 4:0, but allowed the hosts to score three goals within five minutes! It's even a pity that it's not four - a comeback would be outstanding.
About ours in this tour
Maksym Khlan was in the starting line-up of Gurnyk on the left flank of the attack. He played almost the entire match - he was replaced in the 90th minute. Scored a great free kick and his goal was the winner. Largely thanks to this goal, the first in the championship and the second of the season after the match for the Super Cup of the country received high ratings as high as 8.0. Personally, I would rate his game more modestly. He pulled the blanket over himself, for example, in the first half, he blocked a three-on-three counterattack, deciding not to pass to his partner, but to shoot a free kick from outside the boundaries. His shot went straight to the goalkeeper. Won only two out of six single combats, broke the rules four times. Made three shots on goal and all three from outside the penalty area.
Yehor Matsenko from Shlionsk, unfortunately, upset. As usual, he played the entire match in the position of right central defender from three. Played frankly weak. Its ratings from various sources range from 6.1 to 6.3. It was from under him that Hungarian Levente Szabo scored the winning goal in the 85th minute. Matsenko did not prevent the Hungarian from receiving the ball in front of the goal, nor from scoring.
After a series of unsuccessful matches, Vladyslav Kochergin lost his place in the starting line-up of Rakuwa and entered the field in the 57th minute, immediately after Krakow's first goal. He played in the center of midfield. Gave 26 passes, of which 22 were accurate, won three out of four duels, tried to score from his half of the field, but in
