Depay agreed to a new contract with Corinthians with a reduced salary

The relationship between the Dutch striker Memphs Depay and the Brazilian Corinthians has recently been strained due to the club's arrears in paying the player's salary. However, this did not interfere with the sports component of the parties' work - the parties continued to negotiate a new contract and eventually reached an agreement. The 32-year-old performer agreed to a salary cut from 9 to 7 million euros and waived several bonus points in the upcoming renewed agreement until 2028. In two years in Brazil, Depay played 79 matches, scored 20 goals and provided 15 assists.
