Aston Villa announced a double reinforcement of the defense

Birmingham Aston Villa has announced on its official resources the transfer of Japanese goalkeeper Dzion Suzuki and Italian full-back Matteo Ruggeri from Italian Parma and Atletico Madrid, respectively. The 24-year-old defensive player cost the club 25 million euros + 1.5 million euros in bonuses. Meanwhile, the 23-year-old goalkeeper cost 30 million euros + 5 million euros in bonuses. Both players signed contracts until 2031. The Italian played 47 matches and made seven assists at Atletico last season, while the Japanese played 22 matches, conceded 30 goals and kept six clean sheets.
