It's official: Pogba has left Monaco

0
Monaco on its official resources announced the departure of star midfielder Paul Pogba. The 2018 world champion joined the Monegasque in the 2025 offseason. This transfer was a vital step for the Frenchman, as Monaco provided him with a platform to return to professional sports. It will be recalled that the Court of Arbitration for Sport shortened his initial four-year suspension for violation of anti-doping rules, which allowed the midfielder to resume his career in the spring of 2025, after which he signed a contract with the club from the Principality. In its official statement, Monaco said a succinct but respectful farewell to the player: "The club from the Principality and the French midfielder jointly announce the end of the adventure that began in the off-season of 2025. The club expresses its gratitude to the 2018 world champion and wishes him all the best for the future." In total, Paul Pogba managed to play 6 matches in all tournaments as part of Monaco. Currently, the 33-year-old midfielder is in the status of a free agent, and it is not yet known where he will continue his performances.
