Dynamo Kyiv winger Shola Ogundan underwent a microsurgery today — the player had a hematoma on his foot removed. This was reported by the club's chief doctor, Andriy Shmorgun.
The hematoma arose due to inflammation after a blow that the football player suffered during the training process. The recovery period is estimated at 10-14 days, after which the Nigerian will be able to return to training in the general group.
21-year-old Ogundana joined Dynamo in the summer of 2025. The winger scored a goal on his debut for Kyiv and made 24 appearances for the club last season, scoring two goals, although he rarely made the starting line-up. The injury could prevent the player from joining the squad for the upcoming league matches while the Nigerian undergoes a rehabilitation period.
