Rangers announced the loan of Nedelkovic from Aston Villa

Rangers have officially announced the transfer of right-back Kosta Nedelkovic from Aston Villa. The 20-year-old Serbian will play for the Scottish club in the 2026/27 season on loan. At the same time, the agreement between the clubs provides for a mandatory buyout of the football player for 4 million pounds. The option will become mandatory after Nedelkovic has played a certain number of games for Rangers. For Rangers, the Serbian defender became the 11th newcomer of the summer transfer window. The Scottish club had been in talks for a long time about the player's transfer and eventually agreed with Aston Villa to join him. Nedelkovic has already commented on his transfer, saying that he is looking forward to starting a new phase of his career: "I'm very excited. Rangers is a big club, a big family, so I'm really happy to join this team and help them achieve great things together." Previously, Nedelkovich played on loan for RB Leipzig. He moved to Aston Villa from Crvena Zvezda in January 2024.
