Baleba to join Manchester United for £70m - Romano

Manchester United have reached a verbal agreement with Brighton for the transfer of central midfielder Carlos Baleb. This was reported by insider insider. According to a source, the English club sent an improved offer after the previous one worth 65 million pounds was rejected. In the end, the parties agreed to a transfer for 65 million pounds of guaranteed money and another 5 million in bonuses. The 22-year-old Cameroonian footballer has already received permission to leave Brighton. Manchester United have scheduled a medical for him at the weekend, after which the transfer should be made official. Baleba joined Brighton in the summer of 2023 from French side Lille. As noted, Manchester United was the only club to which the player wanted to move this summer. The Cameroonian now has to undergo a medical and complete the formalities to become a new player for the Mancunians.
