PSV rented a defender from RB Leipzig

The Dutch full-back Lutsarel Gertreida left the borders of his native country in the summer of 2024 during the transfer from Feyenoord to the German RB Leipzig for 20 million euros, but in the end he did not manage to open up in the Bundesliga. Last season for the 26-year-old artist was spent on loan in the English Sunderland, after which the player returned to the location of the "red bulls", but the coming campaign did not promise him a striking change in the amount of game practice. So, in the end, the club and the player decided on the need for a loan, with which the Dutch PSV helped. For 1.5 million euros + 1 million euros in salary, Gertreida will spend the next year in her homeland, after which the "peasants" will have the option of buying out for 13 million euros + 2 million euros in bonuses. The transfer was announced the day before, and if PSV rushes to register the player for the season before noon on Saturday, August 22, then the rookie can already play in the match against Groningen the next day in the championship. Gertreida played 31 games last season.
