Konsa: I came to Arsenal to win

New Arsenal defender Ezri Konza has shared his first impressions of his move from Aston Villa. The Englishman has signed a long-term contract with the London club and has already outlined his main goals for the new stage of his career. Konsa is able to operate both in the center of defense and on the right wing. The football player emphasized that he is ready to fulfill any requirements of the head coach. "It's good to be a versatile player. I can play at right-back or centre-back, but at the end of the day, wherever the coach wants to use me, I will always give my best. I'm here to win. I want more. Last season I tasted victory in the Europa League and I want to achieve more," said Konsa. The defender also spoke warmly about the period of his career at Aston Villa, where he spent a significant part of his professional journey. "I am very proud of the time I spent at Aston Villa. I am very grateful to the club for what it has done for me throughout my career. I came to it very young and left as a grown man. I am looking forward to starting work at Arsenal," the Englishman added. The defender was indispensable in Thomas Tuchel's England squad at the World Cup this summer. Konsa played all the matches of the tournament, where the English reached the semi-finals (losing to Argentina 1:2), and later won bronze medals, defeating the French team (6:4).
