Bondarenko commented on the transfer from Shakhtar to Al-Ahly

Artem Bondarenko first reacted to his transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk to Al-Ahly. The Ukrainian midfielder does not hide his positive emotions from the change of club and is already determined to help the new team. Bondarenko emphasized that he is proud of the opportunity to join one of the leading clubs in Asian football. "I am very happy to wear the Al-Ahly shirt. I am proud to join a great club - the champion of Asia, and I look forward to the opportunity to give my best to achieve new successes together with my teammates and make the club's fans happy," Bondarenko told the club's press service. The Ukrainian midfielder will play for Al-Ahly on loan until June 30, 2027. The contract between the clubs includes an option to buy out the player. Bondarenko is a pupil of Shakhtar and made his debut for the first team of the Donetsk club in 2020. During this time, he played 169 matches, scored 34 goals and provided 29 assists.
