Deportivo have signed an Atletico defender and a Barcelona midfielder

On the last day of the transfer window, the Spanish Deportivo A Coruña announced the signing of players from two famous La Liga clubs. They are Uruguayan central defender Jose Maria Jimenez from Atletico Madrid and Spanish defensive midfielder Marco Casado from Barcelona. The 31-year-old defender and 22-year-old midfielder joined on a one-year loan, but Deportivo will have the right to buy the Uruguayan. Jimenez made 384 appearances for Atlético, scoring 14 goals and providing 13 assists over 13 years, while Casado played 34 games (1,397 minutes) and provided one assist last season at Barcelona.
