Man Utd chaos as Chelsea make worrying €65m Jackson decision
0
Saturday's transfer market was relentless, and Manchester United were caught in the middle of the chaos. Their plans were thrown into disarray after Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba suffered a serious-looking injury.
Chelsea made a decision that invites plenty of debate: the club are ready to sell Nicolas Jackson. The striker is valued at €65 million and is arguably their best player, which makes the call all the more worrying. Chelsea have also been in contact with the camp of Real Madrid striker Endrick.
Arsenal, meanwhile, made the most decisive statement of the day. They communicated their stance to Bradley Barcola after being contacted by the PSG star's entourage, and they completed a statement signing by landing Newcastle captain Bruno Guimaraes.
The Gunners may have missed out on Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr, but the very fact they went after him should serve as a warning to their Premier League rivals. PSG are closing in on Barcelona star Ferran Torres, while Liverpool have agreed a surprising loan deal with Barcelona for Ronald Araujo.
Manchester United still have a chance to get the better of Barcelona in the race to sign Racing Santander left-back Jorge Salinas. And Arsenal could soon be involved in a major striker domino, one that former academy star Folarin Balogun might start.
