Arsenal plot Konsa move after Guimaraes breakthrough

Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement with Newcastle United for Bruno Guimaraes, with the Brazil midfielder now expected to complete his move to the Emirates Stadium after a medical this week. insider sources's insider says the two clubs settled on a fee of €87 million (£75 million), finally breaking a saga that had forced Guimaraes to wait. According to the media, the Gunners are already preparing a fresh offer for England defender Ezri Konsa. Mikel Arteta's side had a previous bid come up short of Aston Villa's €70 million (£60 million) valuation. Villa are not eager to sell.
