Osimhen leaves transfer door open
Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen did not entirely close the door when quizzed about the recent speculation linking him with Arsenal.
The Nigeria international bagged a brace on Friday to salvage a 2-2 draw against Corum and said after the match: "There are always rumours during transfer windows. I will focus on my job, focus on my work. We’ll see and think about the future."
It has been claimed that Arsenal discussed a potential deal for the forward during talks with Galatasaray over a deal for Gabriel Martinelli, but sources understands that a move to North London is highly unlikely.
PSG not budging from Barcola asking price
PSG are refusing to lower their €170 million asking price for Bradley Barcola, but a deal is not yet entirely out of the question, reports.
The France international is a target for Arsenal and Liverpool, with the latter in particular pushing hard to sign him. However, neither club is willing to meet PSG's eye-watering price tag.
With Barcola refusing to sign a new contract, PSG may yet be compelled to lower their demands as the deadline approaches. Although they could still sell him next summer as he is tied down until 2028, they may struggle to command north of €100m for him with just a year left on his deal.
Hinshelwood linked
Arsenal are "leading the race" to sign Brighton midfielder Jack Hinshelwood, claims.
The 21-year-old is capable of playing in numerous roles, including at full-back, which is said to have made him an attractive option to Mikel Arteta. Talks with his camp have already taken place.
Brighton could demand as much as €60m for the England youth international, and their position is only strengthened by the fact that Arsenal face competition from Man Utd and Man City.
Three failed signing attempts
Arsenal have had approaches for three defenders rebuffed in recent days, according to insider .
The Gunners have been chasing Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa for several weeks, but they have yet to come close to the Birmingham club's €70m valuation. They could still make a new bid, but Villa want to keep the England star.
Three Lions teammate Jarell Quansah has also emerged as an option this week, with Arsenal contacting Bayer Leverkusen to explore a potential deal for the versatile defender. However, the Bundesliga outfit also do not want to sell.
It is the same story for Atletico Madrid star Marc Pubill . "They made some calls for Marc Pubill over the week, but the player is not for sale," Romano said.
