Leandro Trossard Set to Leave Arsenal for Besiktas After €20m Deal Agreed

Leandro Trossard is traveling to Turkey on Tuesday evening to finalize his move from Arsenal to Besiktas, according to transfer insider insider. The Belgian winger will undergo a medical in Istanbul before signing a three-year contract that includes an option for an additional season. Romano's update comes after insider sources reported last Sunday that the two clubs had settled on a €20 million (£17m) fee for the 31-year-old. TalkSPORT's Ben Jacobs adds that the deal is a straight three-year commitment with a club option for a fourth year. Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023 and went on to score 36 goals in 174 appearances across all competitions. He was instrumental in Arsenal's Premier League title triumph last season, netting the winner in a crucial 1-0 victory over West Ham United in May 2026. The Belgium international also played a key role for his country at the 2026 World Cup, scoring twice and providing three assists as Belgium reached the quarterfinals. With Trossard's departure imminent, Arsenal are actively searching for a new left-sided attacker. Mikel Arteta's side have been linked with Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers, though The media values the forward at €152 million (£130m). Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola is another target, but insider sources reports PSG are not open to selling him at a similar valuation. Club Brugge's Christos Tzolis, who scored 22 goals last season, is also on Arsenal's radar.
