West Ham confirm Crysencio Summerville's £60m move to Al-Hilal

West Ham United have officially completed the sale of Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, the club announced on Tuesday. The deal is worth a total of £60 million, with an initial £55 million guaranteed and a further £5 million in potential add-ons. sources reported earlier this week that the two clubs had reached an agreement. Summerville, 24, joined West Ham from Leeds United and spent two seasons in east London, scoring eight goals in 56 appearances across all competitions. The Netherlands international enjoyed a hot streak in January and February, finding the net in five consecutive matches, but he was part of a Hammers side that suffered relegation from the Premier League in May. On the international stage, Summerville featured in four games at the most recent World Cup, scoring in group-stage wins against Japan and Sweden. The sale adds to West Ham's transfer funds after midfielder Mateus Fernandes moved to Tottenham Hotspur earlier this summer for £85 million.
