insider has dropped a fresh batch of transfer updates, with Manchester City at the center of multiple moves. The Premier League champions are pushing to sign Lille teenage midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi in a deal that could exceed €80 million, while also preparing to open talks for Marseille goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli as a new backup option. Romano confirmed on his YouTube channel that City have internally decided to target Rulli. "Marseille have been informed of City's interest and negotiations will begin very soon. The player is keen on the move," he said. Rulli previously belonged to Manchester City but was loaned out to Spain without making a first-team appearance before leaving permanently. The move comes as James Trafford is set to join Leeds United in a club-record deal, with John Stones also heading to Inter Milan on a two-year contract. Regarding Bouaddi, Romano described the 18-year-old as "one of the best young midfielders in world football." Talks have accelerated in recent days, with City directly engaging Lille president Olivier Letang. The expectation is a package worth more than €70-80 million, though it remains unclear whether the transfer will happen this summer or in 2027. City are keen to avoid a late hijack from another club. On the Marcus Rashford front, Romano dismissed intensifying rumors linking the Manchester United forward with Al Nassr. "Rashford is not planning to leave this summer for that type of destination," he said. "His priority would only be to leave if a top European club comes forward with a major proposal. It is either a move to one of Europe's top clubs or he stays at Manchester United." Elsewhere, World Cup breakout star Kerim Alajbegovic is closing in on a move to Juventus after rejecting Chelsea's project approach. Chelsea wanted to sign him as a future prospect and loan him out, but Juventus have offered a pathway to immediate first-team involvement. "Juventus are offering something completely different," Romano added, with the Serie A side now in pole position to land the highly rated talent.
