Arsenal cash in on Trossard as Besiktas move confirmed; Tielemans heading to Manchester United

insider has dropped a major transfer update, with two Premier League deals all but sealed and a couple of defensive opportunities flagged for the summer window.
Leandro Trossard has officially played his last game for Arsenal. The Belgian winger is on his way to Besiktas after the clubs agreed a €18 million fee plus €2 million in performance-related bonuses. Romano confirmed the move with his trademark 'here we go,' noting that Trossard will fly to Istanbul on Tuesday for a medical and to sign a contract that runs until June 2030. The 29-year-old leaves north London after a quietly excellent spell — always available, professional, and productive.
With Trossard out the door, Arsenal are expected to bring in a new left-sided attacker. Christos Tzolis of Club Brugge remains on the shortlist and has been waiting since June for the Gunners to make a move. Alongside him, Morgan Rogers is the top target, though Aston Villa’s £130 million valuation makes that one complicated. Romano promised more Arsenal stories in the coming weeks.
Over at Manchester United, the midfield rebuild continues. Youri Tielemans is set to join from Aston Villa after United triggered his £35 million release clause. The Belgian international has already arrived in Manchester and is expected to put pen to paper on a five-year contract within 24 hours. Andrey Santos was already made official earlier this week, while Romano ruled out any move for Atalanta’s Ederson.
Romano also highlighted two defenders who could be on the move. Antonio Silva has refused to sign a new deal with Benfica — with only one year left on his contract, agent Jorge Mendes is shopping the Portuguese centre-back to Premier League clubs. Meanwhile, Benjamin Pavard remains available at Inter. Manager Cristian Chivu admitted the French World Cup winner is still a Nerazzurri player but confirmed the club will revisit their decision from a year ago, leaving the door open for a departure.
