Coventry City have completed the signing of striker Taiwo Awoniyi from Nottingham Forest.The Athletic reported on Saturday Forest were finalising the sale of Awoniyi, 29, to Coventry, and the newly-promoted Premier League club confirmed his arrival on Monday.The fee is considerably less than the then club-record deal worth £17.2million (€20m;$23.3m) Forest paid to Union Berlin for the Nigeria international in the summer of 2022, according to sources with knowledge of the transfer, speaking on the condition of anonymity.
