Mbaye became the youngest African to score at the World Cup

The forward of "PSG" and the Senegal national team Ibrahim Mbaye became the author of the only goal of his team in the match of the first round of the 2026 World Cup against France (1:3). The 18-year-old striker scored in the 90th + 5th minute in his debut match at the World Cup, becoming the youngest goal scorer at the World Cup as part of the African national team.
