Man Utd gets green light for striker deal as Real Madrid faces hijack drama
0
The summer transfer window has reached its final month, and Man Utd is ready to accelerate. Reports say the club has been given the green light for a striker deal, with the next transfer reportedly moving "full speed ahead." United is also prepared to pay up to €70m to get that signing over the line.
The update comes as Real Madrid is reportedly dealing with a hijack situation. Rodri has reportedly agreed a move to Barcelona, while Madrid is said to be facing a brutal fight for the Manchester City star. That adds another layer of uncertainty to the final month of the window.
Elsewhere, Vinicius Junior has reportedly ended Arsenal speculation by agreeing a new contract with Real Madrid, according to Ornstein. Arsenal has been told to forget Vini Jr and sign a €100m forward instead. Arteta has also admitted to selling a player who was described as Arsenal's "glue."
Man Utd, for its part, may still get the chance to strike a smart deal that would hammer the final nail into Newcastle's coffin. With so many moving pieces, the window is not slowing down.
