Man Utd submit enquiry to sign 'exceptional' €50m winger Make us your Google favourite Manchester United are reportedly among the clubs to have enquired about a possible summer deal for Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye . The 18-year-old has been heavily linked with a Parc des Princes exit in recent weeks and it’s understood that he is keen to leave the club before Transfer Deadline Day in search of more regular game time. Mbaye made 31 appearances across all competitions for PSG last season, but he only started one Champions League fixture en route to their second consecutive triumph and he was an unused substitute in all of their knockout matches. As a result, he is eager to explore his transfer options and this stance has been exacerbated by the signing of AS Monaco forward Maghnes Akliouche. PSG are also in advanced talks to sign Ferran Torres (Barcelona) and Mika Godts (Ajax), and the Ligue 1 giants are therefore amenable to selling Mbaye this summer if they receive an offer in excess of €50 million. This has been confirmed by Spanish outlet AS , who report that Aston Villa, Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, Man Utd, Porto, RB Leipzig and Roma have all enquired about a possible summer deal for the teenager. Mbaye, who was described as an “exceptional player” by Sadio Mane following his performances at AFCON in January, has just two years remaining on his current PSG contract, and Luis Enrique’s side are therefore expected to negotiate a potential sale if they receive a suitable offer. Marcus Rashford latest Despite Man Utd’s interest in Mbaye, the presence of returning loanee Marcus Rashford may block a potential deal for the Senegal attacker. Rashford spent last season on loan at La Liga giants Barcelona, after a bust-up with former Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim, but he has now returned to Old Trafford following his participation at the World Cup, and he looks set to stay at the club this season. When asked about the 28-year-old’s future after Man Utd’s pre-season friendly versus Leeds United on Wednesday, new manager Michael Carrick said: “He's our player, you know, and he's come back great. He's just like any other player. “I've known Marcus a long time and, you know, he gives us something a little bit different. And he's been in great spirits since he's been back. “He's been back two or three days training and it's just pretty normal, to be honest. And we're looking forward to the start of the season.”
