Manchester United are shaping up for a busy end to the summer window, with incomings and outgoings both on the agenda. The latest updates from Old Trafford feature a forward apparently staying put, a goalkeeper heading for Spain and a midfielder being shown the door. Iliman Ndiaye is set to stay at Everton, according to Senegal teammate Idrissa Gueye. The winger has been strongly linked with a move away from Merseyside, with Manchester United and Saudi club Al-Hilal both credited with interest. Ndiaye has now reported for pre-season duty with Everton after his post-World Cup break, and Gueye, a former Everton midfielder, responded to a post welcoming him back with the comment "here to stay." Everton, as expected, are desperate to keep their star forward. Altay Bayindir is closing in on a move to Celta Vigo. Per AS, the Manchester United goalkeeper is already in Spain to complete an initial loan switch. Bayindir had been expected to leave all summer after Karl Darlow arrived on a free transfer, and his chances of regular minutes at Old Trafford looked slim. His contract expires next year, although United hold an option for an extra season, which would stop him leaving for free in 2027. A permanent move to Celta could follow if the loan works out. Toby Collyer, meanwhile, has been told he can leave Manchester United permanently this summer. The 22-year-old is rated internally but has only 13 senior appearances for the club, and a loan at West Brom and Hull City last season did not go well. United no longer see him in their plans, and while Collyer could stay until his contract runs down and walk away for free next year, serious Championship interest means a sale this window looks more likely. United are also still tracking Bologna defender Jhon Lucumi. The Colombia international impressed at the World Cup, and the race for his signature is reaching a decisive point. Juventus have made two formal offers and Como one, while Nottingham Forest, Chelsea and Manchester United are all considered a serious threat to the Italian clubs. Finally, Jadon Sancho has agreements in principle with a number of clubs. The former United winger, signed for €85 million, is a free agent after five difficult years at Old Trafford. He spent loan spells at Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Aston Villa, and now has suitors in Europe and the Middle East. Sancho wants to take his time before deciding where to relaunch his career.
