Vinicius Jr, Bruno Guimaraes among five deals Arsenal could still complete before Deadline Day

Arsenal have already spent €80 million this summer, but the club are still looking to strengthen before the 1 September deadline. Piero Hincapie, Christos Tzolis and Illan Meslier have been brought in, and Mikel Arteta wants more.
Five names stand out as realistic possibilities.
Vinicius Junior is locked in a contract dispute at Real Madrid. The Brazil star's current deal expires next summer, and Madrid are prepared to sell if he does not sign an extension. Jose Mourinho wants to keep him, yet Arsenal are ready to do whatever it takes to bring him in before Deadline Day.
Bruno Guimaraes remains the clearest target. Arsenal have agreed personal terms with the Newcastle United midfielder and are now trying to agree a fee with Newcastle United. Guimaraes wants the move and is expected to become Arsenal's next major signing ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
Ezri Konsa is another option, especially if Ben White departs. The Aston Villa man has been linked with Arsenal for weeks, and Villa may listen to offers because his contract expires in 2028. They are determined to keep him, but the final days of a window can change things.
Igor Tyjon is one for the future. Arsenal have been chasing the Blackburn striker for months and a deal is reportedly close. The England U18 forward signed an extension in May, but Blackburn can still sell him this summer. He has made three senior appearances and would likely start in Arsenal's U21 team.
Julian Alvarez completes the list, even if this is the hardest deal to do. Atletico Madrid do not want to sell, especially not to Barcelona, who have made him their priority striker target. Arsenal are monitoring, but a move would require a club-record fee.
