Transfer Roundup: Chelsea Secure Teenager Osborne, Bouaddi Loan Request Granted

0
The summer transfer window is heating up, and Thursday brought a flurry of activity across Europe. Chelsea have moved quickly to lock in a promising young defender, while the future of one of Lille's brightest stars appears to be taking shape with a creative loan arrangement. Elsewhere, Besiktas are pushing hard for an Arsenal winger, and Liverpool's captain might not be as untouchable as previously thought. Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign 17-year-old centre-back Alfie Osborne, according to insider. The Scotland U19 international, who can also slot into midfield, has already passed his medical and committed to a long-term contract with the Blues. Osborne turned down offers from multiple European clubs to make the move from Edinburgh to Stamford Bridge. In the race for Ayyoub Bouaddi, several Premier League heavyweights have signaled their willingness to loan the Moroccan teenager back to Lille for an additional season. The 18-year-old midfielder is being tracked by practically every top club in England, but the most appealing proposal reportedly came from one unnamed club that offered the return-loan clause. Chelsea and Liverpool are also said to be prepared to accept that condition to beat Manchester City to Bouaddi's signature. Arsenal and Manchester United, however, would prefer to bring him in immediately. Besiktas are pushing to finalize a deal for Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard, as reported by Sercan Dikme. The Belgian international is one of two targets for the left flank, alongside another unnamed star, but Besiktas have already agreed terms with the latter's club. For Trossard, there is no problem negotiating with Arsenal, who have been offered €20 million, but the player himself is waiting until after the World Cup to make a decision. The Turkish club says it will complete whichever deal comes together first. Napoli have made an inquiry to Chelsea regarding Alejandro Garnacho, according to reports. The Serie A side admire the Argentine winger and have made him a priority target for the left wing. They have scouted Garnacho and would be open to a loan or a permanent transfer, provided the financial terms are right. Chelsea have not yet decided on the 21-year-old's future and are likely to wait until new manager Xabi Alonso has had a chance to evaluate him. Meanwhile, the Blues are also scouting the market for possible replacements, with one of PSV's wide players under consideration. Virgil van Dijk's status at Liverpool has shifted. The Reds no longer consider their captain untouchable, according to TEAMtalk. The Dutch defender has been linked with a surprise move to clubs looking for experienced leadership, with interest also coming from Turkey and MLS. Liverpool are open to considering offers but are not actively pushing him out, and the player himself is not entirely against a fresh challenge after spending nearly a decade at Anfield. In other rumors: AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze has been offered to Aston Villa. Lens defender Kevin Danso is on the verge of snubbing Premier League interest to join Rennes. Tottenham striker Richarlison has received an “official offer” from a major Turkish club. Jorrel Hato has decided to stay at Ajax despite previously being eager to join Chelsea. Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool are all monitoring Santos and Mexico youngster Gilberto Mora. PSG winger Bradley Barcola has become Liverpool's top target on the wing. And Fenerbahce are in talks with Arsenal over a deal worth less than €40 million for Gabriel Jesus, who has already agreed personal terms.
