From Alvarez to Yildiz: Every forward who has been linked with a move to Arsenal Make us your Google favourite It is no secret that Arsenal want to strengthen their attack before the transfer window closes in England on Tuesday, 1 September. Already a strong bet to retain their Premier League title this season, the Gunners want to solidify their chances by making a marquee signing up top. As Mikel Arteta continues to talk up Arsenal’s ambition in the transfer market, several stars continue to be linked with a big-money move to north London. Here, sources takes a look at every forward whose name has been mentioned in connection with Arsenal this summer. Julian Alvarez (Atletico Madrid) insider sources understands Arsenal are ready to pounce for Julian Alvarez if Atletico Madrid decide to sell Julian Alvarez. However, the La Liga side are insisting the striker will not be sold this summer, even though he has publicly expressed his desire to leave. Kenan Yildiz (Juventus) Arsenal are also considering the merits of Juventus and Turkey winger Kenan Yildiz, according to insider sources . The only problem is that Juventus, like Atletico, are adamant that their main forward will not be on the move this summer. Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray) sources claims Arsenal have discussed the possibility of signing Galatasaray talisman Victor Osimhen. Osimhen has developed a reputation as one of - if not the - best forwards outside of Europe’s top five leagues, scoring 63 goals in 76 games in Turkey. Bradley Barcola (Paris Saint-Germain) Arsenal have also weighed up whether to make a move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, as per sources . Yet Barcola, who PSG value at a staggering €170million (£145.3m), is believed to prefer a switch to Liverpool this summer. Eli Junior Kroupi (Bournemouth) sources understands Arsenal were mulling over a move for Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi before he suffered a foot injury in pre-season. Bournemouth had also insisted the 20-year-old, who scored 13 goals in his debut season in England in 2025-26, was not for sale at any price. Nico Williams (Athletic Club) The name that refuses to go away as far as Arsenal are concerned, Nico Williams continues to be loosely linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium. However, there are currently no concrete reports suggesting Arsenal are prepared to rekindle their previous interest in Spain’s World Cup winner. Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid) Arsenal were ready to push the boat out to sign Vinicius Junior in what may have been the most expensive signing in Premier League history. But the Brazil international ended up sorting out his contract dispute with Real Madrid by putting pen to paper on a new six-year deal. Morgan Rogers (Chelsea) sources understands Morgan Rogers was Arsenal boss Arteta’s dream signing this summer. However, the 14-time league champions ended their pursuit when offered the chance to match Chelsea’s €137m (£117m) offer for the England international. Arsenal deemed that figure to be too high for their liking, therefore paving the way for Rogers to join Chelsea from Aston Villa.
