Tottenham Head to Pre-Season Tour Without Kulusevski, Kudus and Others

Tottenham have announced their squad for the pre-season tour of New Zealand and Australia, and several key names are missing. Swedish winger Dejan Kulusevski and Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus have both been left out. Kulusevski is still recovering from knee surgery and has not played in 14 months. According to the club, he has not been seen at the training ground since the team returned to work. Kudus is dealing with the aftermath of a severe quadriceps injury he suffered back in January. He is at the club's base but has not yet joined full training on the pitch. Also absent from the trip are Wilson Odobert and Xavi Simons, both rehabbing from anterior cruciate ligament ruptures. Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario will also miss the tour after picking up a minor knock in training — and there is speculation he could leave the club altogether. Manager Roberto De Zerbi has opted not to take any risks, leaving the injured players in London to continue their recovery.
