Juventus Pulls Signing Bonus Off the Table in Vlahovic Talks
0
Juventus has taken a much tougher line with Dusan Vlahovic. The Serie A side is no longer offering the Serbian striker a signing bonus and has cut the proposed salary, a sharp reversal from the lucrative deal that was on the table just weeks ago.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, negotiations stalled after the 26-year-old turned down Juventus’ initial offer on June 3. That proposal was worth over €7 million per season — enough to make Vlahovic the club’s highest earner — plus a substantial signing bonus. The forward was holding out for better terms from Europe’s elite, but no concrete offers ever materialized.
Now that Vlahovic has tried to reopen talks, Juventus is dictating the terms. The new offer drops the salary to €6 million annually — less than what Kenan Yildiz currently earns — and includes no signing bonus whatsoever.
Juventus has also been linked with a move for Trubin, though financial constraints continue to complicate any major dealings for the club.
