Edin Dzeko to extend Schalke stay - Romano

Edin Dzeko has agreed a contract extension with Schalke 04, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano. The new deal will keep the Bosnian striker at the club until June 2027. After Schalke secured promotion back to the Bundesliga, the 40-year-old decided to commit his future to the Royal Blues, turning down approaches from Serie A, MLS and other German sides. An official announcement is expected in the coming days. Last season, Dzeko made 11 appearances for Schalke, scoring six goals and providing three assists.
