Nottingham Forest Move for Feyenoord Wing-Back Givairo Read

Nottingham Forest have opened talks with Feyenoord over a summer move for 20-year-old full-back Givairo Read. The Premier League side have lodged an opening bid of €21 million for the Dutch club's youngster. Read still has three years left on his contract in Rotterdam, but Feyenoord are willing to listen to serious offers. Whether Forest's first proposal is enough remains to be seen, but negotiations have already begun between the two clubs. On the personal side, Read has already agreed terms with the English outfit - a deal running until 2031. Last season was disrupted for the defender by a hamstring injury: he managed just 20 appearances in all competitions, scoring twice and providing three assists.
