Bologna secure loan deal for Artem Dovbyk from Roma

Bologna have reached an agreement with Roma to take Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk on loan until June 2027. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 29-year-old has already given his approval and will travel for his medical on Tuesday before the move is finalized. As part of the arrangement, Bologna striker Santiago Castro will head in the opposite direction to Roma. The swap-style deal allows both clubs to refresh their attacking options - Roma land the young Argentine talent while Bologna add an experienced finisher. Dovbyk's 2025/26 campaign has been disrupted by injuries. He managed 20 appearances across all competitions for Roma, scoring six goals and providing two assists. His current market value is estimated at €15 million, according to Transfermarkt.
