"We want to win every trophy": Gittens on Morgan Rogers transfer and Chelsea ambition

Chelsea winger Jamie Gittens has spoken for the first time about the club's blockbuster £117 million signing of midfielder Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa, insisting the addition will boost their hunt for silverware. "There has been a lot of talk around Morgan's arrival. Our goal is to win the Premier League, the FA Cup - every competition we enter," Gittens said. The winger believes Rogers can raise the standard of the squad and help Chelsea realise their ambitions. "We hope that signing a player like Morgan will help us bring home trophies. We have a very competitive group, so we need to keep working hard and show our best qualities," he added. Rogers made 125 appearances for Aston Villa, scoring 31 goals and providing 29 assists. He also lifted the Europa League trophy with the club last season. On the international stage, the midfielder made his England debut in November 2024 and has since earned 22 caps, including a run at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
