Fenerbahçe set €40m benchmark for Milan's Rafael Leão, talks expected soon

Fenerbahçe are stepping up their pursuit of AC Milan winger Rafael Leão and have internally settled on a fee they are willing to offer this summer. According to Turkish insider Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, the Istanbul heavyweight values the 27-year-old Portuguese international at around €40 million - and possibly even less. After initial soundings with the player's camp, Fenerbahçe are now preparing to open formal negotiations with the Rossoneri. Club officials hope to strike a deal on acceptable financial terms, although Milan's stance on one of their most influential attackers remains unclear for now. Leão's current contract at San Siro runs until the summer of 2028, and Transfermarkt lists his market value at €50 million. In the 2025/26 season, the winger made 31 appearances for Milan, scoring ten goals and providing three assists.
