AEK Athens agrees deal for Lovro Majer from Wolfsburg

AEK Athens have reached a verbal agreement with Wolfsburg for the transfer of Croatian midfielder Lovro Majer, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The Greek club will pay more than €6 million for the 28-year-old, with all key terms now settled. Majer is expected to travel to Greece later this week to undergo a medical before putting pen to paper on his new contract. Last season, the Croatia international made 29 Bundesliga appearances, scoring two goals and providing three assists. Wolfsburg were relegated from the top flight at the end of the campaign.
