Ajax agree loan deal for Wolves striker Tolu Arokodare

Ajax have reached a full agreement with Wolverhampton Wanderers for the loan signing of Nigeria international Tolu Arokodare, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The deal includes an option to buy for €22 million, which is not mandatory. The Amsterdam club will also pay a loan fee and cover the player's wages in full during his stay. Arokodare turned down multiple offers from Turkish and Italian clubs to join the Eredivisie giants. The 25-year-old joined Wolves last year from Genk for €26 million. In the 2024-25 Premier League season, he made 33 appearances, scoring three goals and providing one assist as Wolves finished bottom and were relegated to the Championship.
