Liverpool Eye Loan Move for Zabarnyi - Sources

Liverpool have reportedly approached Paris Saint-Germain to explore a loan deal for Illya Zabarnyi. The 22-year-old Ukrainian centre-back is said to be outside Luis Enrique's long-term plans at the Ligue 1 champions. According to sources, the Merseyside club is not prepared to meet the €60 million valuation for a permanent transfer and is instead considering a temporary move with an option to buy. Meanwhile, Liverpool are also continuing work on a potential deal for Bradley Barcola. Zabarnyi made 37 appearances across all competitions for PSG in the 2025-26 season, scoring one goal, and helped the club lift two major trophies - the Champions League and the Ligue 1 title.
