Strasbourg target Giovanni Reyna as Borussia Mönchengladbach open to sale

Strasbourg have entered the race for Borussia Mönchengladbach attacking midfielder Giovanni Reyna, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg. The Bundesliga side is reportedly open to letting the 23-year-old US international leave. Reyna's contract with Gladbach runs through June 2028, and Transfermarkt values him at €4 million. Borussia Dortmund, who sold Reyna to Gladbach in August 2025 for a fee of €3 million plus €4 million in add-ons, are also entitled to 15% of any future sale. This season, Reyna has scored one goal and provided one assist in 20 appearances across all competitions. He also netted once in five games during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Gladbach recently confirmed an injury to Ukrainian defender Yukhym Konoplya, Reyna's teammate at the club.
