João Cancelo faces Al-Hilal fine after skipping preseason camp to push Barcelona move

João Cancelo skipped Al-Hilal's preseason camp in Austria and could now face disciplinary action. According to Diario Sport, the 32-year-old Portuguese is at risk of a fine after failing to show up for the Saudi club's preparations. Cancelo is staying in Portugal while his agent, Jorge Mendes, works on a return to Barcelona. The Catalan club still hopes to sign him permanently for less than €10 million. Cancelo spent the second half of last season on loan at Barcelona and has repeatedly made clear that he wants to remain there, with no desire to go back to Al-Hilal.
