Mohamed Salah Close to Al-Ittihad Move After Besiktas Talks Collapse

Mohamed Salah is on the verge of joining Al-Ittihad. The Saudi club has moved to the front of the queue after the Egyptian forward's negotiations with Besiktas broke down over financial terms. According to reports, Al-Ittihad offered Salah a contract worth $25 million a year. The former Liverpool player has already accepted the proposal, with the signing now expected to be completed in the near future. Salah left Liverpool as a free agent at the end of last season. During his time at the Merseyside club, he won two English league titles, the Champions League, the Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.
