Ajax sign Julian Brandt as free agent

Ajax have officially completed the signing of Julian Brandt. The Amsterdam club confirmed that the German attacking midfielder has joined on a free transfer after his deal with Borussia Dortmund expired. The 30-year-old has committed to Ajax until June 2029. Brandt spent his time at Dortmund from 2019 onward and previously represented Bayer Leverkusen. In his club career, he has made more than 400 appearances, won the DFB-Pokal and earned regular call-ups for Germany. Last season, Brandt played 41 matches, scoring 11 goals and adding four assists.
