David Washington open to Chelsea exit in search of more minutes

David Washington is open to leaving Chelsea this summer. According to Trivela, the 21-year-old Brazilian forward is unhappy with his current role and wants more regular minutes, so he is willing to consider both a loan and a permanent transfer. The Blues, however, would ideally like to sell him outright. Most of the clubs that have shown interest in the striker are only prepared to offer a loan at this stage. Last season, Washington made nine appearances for the youth team across all competitions and finished without a single goal contribution.
