Eintracht reach agreement with Brugge for midfielder Onyedika

Eintracht has reached an agreement with Brugge over the signing of Raphael Onyedika. The Nigerian defensive midfielder has been at the Belgian club since the summer of 2022, registering 183 appearances, nine goals and six assists in that time. Last season alone he played 42 matches, scoring three goals and setting up two more. Onyedika's contract had a year left to run, but he had no interest in extending it, which left Brugge ready to talk. Reports put the fee at €9 million, with another €1 million in add-ons. The Belgian side also received more lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, but the player's desire to test himself in a more competitive European league ended up being the deciding factor. The deal is set to be signed in the coming days, with the midfielder committing to Eintracht until 2031.
