Monaco line up £25m bid for Chelsea midfielder Lavia

Romeo Lavia is on Monaco's radar, with the French club preparing a £25 million bid for the Chelsea midfielder, according to journalist Simon Phillips. Chelsea are expected to receive an official offer in the near future for the 22-year-old Belgian, who was sidelined for a large portion of last season with injuries. Lavia came through the ranks at Anderlecht and Manchester City before establishing himself at Southampton as one of the Premier League's most promising holding midfielders. He later joined Chelsea. Across the most recent campaign, he made 21 appearances and picked up one yellow card. Chelsea have already announced the signing of Jordan Henderson.
