Inter make Calhanoglu stance clear: no summer exit, extension talks set for mid-season

Hakan Çalhanoglu will not be leaving Inter during the current transfer window, and the club has no plans to sell the Turkey midfielder in the summer either. According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter intend to open talks over a new deal around December or January, once the season reaches its midpoint. That contradicts earlier reports suggesting Çalhanoglu would walk away as a free agent next summer. The 32-year-old has been with Inter since 2021. Last season he scored 12 goals and added 7 assists in 30 appearances for the Milan club across all competitions.
