Arsenal agree £75m Bruno Guimaraes deal with Newcastle, says Romano

Arsenal are on the verge of adding Bruno Guimaraes to Mikel Arteta's midfield after a breakthrough in talks with Newcastle. Fabrizio Romano reports that the two clubs have reached a full agreement following a lengthy negotiation process. Personal terms with the Brazilian were wrapped up back in July, leaving the final details of the transfer to be completed. The fee is understood to be £75 million. Guimaraes has been at Newcastle since January 2022, when he joined from Lyon. He quickly became one of the team's most influential players and has remained a regular in Brazil's national squad during his time there.
