Maresca cools Pedro Neto to Manchester City talk

Enzo Maresca was measured when asked about Pedro Neto's future. The Manchester City boss did not confirm that his club is close to signing the Portuguese winger, yet he left the door open while the window remains open. "No, not right now. The transfer window is still open, so anything can happen. It's only August now, but once it's closed everything will be completely different," Maresca said. Neto joined Chelsea after impressing at Wolverhampton. He is a regular in Portugal's squad and is regarded as one of the Premier League's most dangerous wingers. Last season, he made 52 appearances, scored 10 goals and registered 13 assists. Manchester City has been reported to be ready to pay €81m for Neto.
